Pittsburgh Penguins
He was drafted first-round by the Penguins in the 2005 Draft. By the end of his first month in the NHL, he was already showing the world that he was capable of doing some amazing things. Although the team didn't do so hot in the 2005-2006 season, Sid managed to score 102 points. But next season he really came out.
He was at the top of his game, scoring or assisting in most of the games that he played. His teammates started to look up to him as a leader. At the end of the season in June of 2007, Sidney won the Art Ross Trophy, the Hart Trophy, and the Lester Peterson Award. He also became the youngest player to be on the final All-Star team. In 2007, he was named the Captain of Penguins, making him the youngest person to be a captain in the NHL.
To start off the new season, Crosby signed a five-year contract with the Pens. He sprained his ankle mid-season, but returned later to help his team finish the season and with hopes of a winning post-season. Crosby helped lead the team to the 2007-2008 Stanley Cup finals, but fell to the Detroit Red Wings in Game 7. Next season, they got a second chance. Sidney and his Penguins defeated the Red Wings 2-1 in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Championships. Sid helped the team bring back the Cup to Pittsburgh for the first time since 1992.
